Today, parents consider plays/games and toys very effective for intellectual physical, social and emotional development of the children. Playing is a highly effective way of learning for kids. Plays give kids the opportunities for new experiences while they are also useful in terms of improving their imagination and their capacity of using their hands. As this is the case, moms and dads prefer buying toys which could contribute to development of their babies.  As your baby grows up, you should change her toys and try to choose new ones which are appropriate for her age and level of development. 

Choosing toys when your baby is one month old

You can start by purchasing baby mobiles that are horizontally located swinging over the baby lying down in her bed. Colorful rattles, musical toys, other toys attached to the bed are ideal for this period.

Choosing toys for 2-3 month old babies

In this period, babies start to be interested in colorful toys and toys with sound. Plastic soft dolls, soft bouncing balls, 3D colored books, unbreakable mirrors will suffice for toy selection.

Selection of Toys for Babies between 3 and 4 Months

After 4th month, babies want to hold things, wiggle them with their hand and turn them around. They like taking things into their mouths and tasting them. Rattles, balls, puppets, legos, toys with sound and light, and teething rings to relieve the newly emerging teeth could be preferred.
